Training and Technical Assistance
The art of grant writing is aligning an organization's capabilities
with the plans of the funding agency and the requirements of
the solicitation or proposal. WCS has written grants for a number
of clients and has presented the organizations' credentials
in the most effective manner.
Obtaining the funds, however, is only the beginning of the process.
Providing training and technical assistance throughout the life
of the program ensures that organizations are using the latest
evidence-based methodologies to deliver services.
We provide comprehensive training and technical assistance for
our clients. Our material is written in English and Spanish
and includes a variety of hands-on techniques to maximize learning
potential for technical and non-technical audiences. The hands-on
exercises are drawn from field observations and are based on
the cultural characteristics of the front-line workers and target
population. As a result, all training material is customized
and builds from the strengths of the organization.
